This is the blueprint of my imaginary eatery. A sample of items I would choose to have on my menu.


And the most important thing in any dining experience is, let the kitchen do the job they love to do. You will get the food our way or no way. If you want to pick apart a dish, do it at home.That is the way the kitchen runs.

Lunch Menu: All sandwiches served with Sweet Potato Fries and Cucumber Buttermilk Ketchup. Choice of Pineapple Cashew Coleslaw or a Fruit Plate





  • Monte Crisco: Shaved ham and turkey with Swiss and cheddar on lightly battered sourdough bread, grilled and served with Raspberry Sour Creme on the side.

  • Ham and Pear crisp Sandwich: Shaved ham, poached pears, and melted cheese, toasted on Swedish Raisin Rye Bread.

  • Raspberry Chipolte Barbecue Pulled Pork Stuffed Biscuit: Slow Roasted, tender pork, seasoned with the right spices and a sweet savory BBQ. sauce . All Baked inside a savory biscuit.

  • The Best Patty Melt: Stop looking, this is it! Angus ground beef, Caramelized onions, Swiss and Cheddar, on Swedish Raisin Rye Bread.

  • Grilled Rubin: Thinly sliced lean corn beef, Swiss, Sauerkraut and thousand island dressing, grilled on Marbled Rye Bread.

  • Classic French Dip: Shaved Prime Rib stacked high on a Grilled Hoagie Bun, with a crock of Au Jus.

  • Glorified French Dip: Add Roasted Peppers, Onions, and Mushrooms with a melted slice of smoked Provolone.

  • Fried Egg Sandwich: Two Eggs, cheddar cheese, bacon, ham, and sliced heirloom tomatoes, grilled on Sourdough Bread.

  • Walleye Sandwich: Soaked in Buttermilk, lightly breaded with the "BEST" and pan-fried to perfection. Served on a Toasted Hoagie Bun with Shredded ice-berg lettuce and Lemon-herb Tartar Sauce.

  • Tuna Melt: Albacore Tuna Salad with Provolone and slices of heirloom tomatoes on grilled Seven Grain Bread.

  • Sweet Tooth Special: Grilled Swedish Raisin Rye Bread with Sliced Banana's, Marshmallow creme, and Dark Chocolate, all melted together for a taste of childhood!

  • Mac and Cheese: A crock of three cheese's, basil and sun-dried tomatoes.Broiled to bubbling. Comes with a link of Kubasa.

  • Ukrainian Perogies: Boiled dumplings filled with cheddar and potato. Tossed with melted sea salt butter and scallions. Dill sour creme to dip and a link of spicy Kubasa

  • Soups and Salads: Choose one to go with your Dinner Entree, or order as an entree with a side addition. All come with house herb toast sticks.
  • Beet and Butter Lettuce Salad with Honey Goat Cheese w/ Shallot Vinaigrette.
  • The Wedge: Ice Berg Lettuce Wedge with Bacon, heirloom tomatoes, scallions, and Blue cheese dressing.
  • Pineapple and Toasted Pecan Coleslaw

  • Shrimp and Crab Bisque: with roasted corn and red pepper.
  • Creme of Roasted Tomato Soup.
  • French Onion Soup: Topped with Swiss and a herb Forccia toast. Broiled to bubbling.

  • Mushroom Pate: Served with fresh breads and Olives
  • Deviled Eggs with Blue Crab and Sweet Smoked Paprika.
  • Crostini: A plate of the house's best.
  • Warm Brie with Macadamia Nut Crust, Balsamic reduction, Toasted Swedish Raisin Rye Bread, apple slices, and honey to drizzle over each bite.
  • Toasted Ravioli: Spinach and Artichoke stuffed Ravioli with Roasted Garlic and Mozzarella cheese. Served with a Roasted Tomato basil dipping sauce.
  • Fish Cakes: Served with a Mango Sweet and Sour sauce and Scallion Horseradish creme
  • Venison Backstrap Chizlick: Bite size cracked pepper coated, and flash fried. Served sizzling hot with Chili Maple Sauce and Raspberry Chipolte creme.
  • Roasted Sweet Onion: Whole Vadalia Onion stuffed with brown sugar and butter,wrapped in Apple smoked bacon. Then encased in Puff Pastry and baked till golden brown.
  • Farmers Platter: A selection of Artisan cheese's, meat, grilled vegetable's, olives, an assortment of condiments served with the house's flat bread.
  • SIDES: Choose one,along with a soup or salad to compliment your Entree.
  • Eggplant Parmesan: Layers of herb crusted eggplant, Ricotta, Parmesan, Smoked Mozzarella, and a Roasted Garlic Basil Tomato Sauce.
  • Risotto of the Day.
  • Roasted Golden Beets with a Balsamic Vinaigrette and Toasted Hazelnuts.
  • Roasted Garlic and Chive Smashed Baby Red Potatoes.
  • Sweet Potato Fries with cucumber buttermilk dipping sauce.

  • Baby Red Potatoes with Parsley Butter Sauce.
  • Acorn Squash: Slow Roasted with Maple Syrup and Brown Sugar, Topped with Spiced Walnuts.
  • Native Wild rice pear and cranberry pilaf.

  • Asiago Almond Crusted Sea Scallops: Caramelized sweet onions,roasted red pepper, asparagus and champagne beurre blanc.
  • Sweet Southern Catfish: French beans, carrots ham, pecans, lemon and garlic, all simmer sweetly together.
  • Alaskan Halibut: Grilled with a brown sugar soy -ginger glaze. Served with Mango ginger relish.
  • Paella: Prawns, Clams, Mussels, seasonal Fresh Fish, Chicken, Chorizo, Spanish Saffron Rice.
  • Jumbo Shrimp and Lobster Scampi: Garlic, White Wine, Sea Salt Butter, Lemon and Parsley. Served atop House Linguine.

  • Cider Brine Pork Chops: Shaved Brussel Spouts and Tart Apple, Pomegranate, Bacon and Pistachio Relish, Cider Jus.
  • Orange Balsamic Glazed Cornish Game Hens
  • Bacon Wrapped Buffalo Ribeye: Minnesota Bison, House Steak Sauce, served with Grilled Mushrooms and Sweet Onions .
  • Pasture Raised Elk horn Steak: Swedish Mustard and Blackberry onion compote served along side.
  • Medallions of Beef: Portabella Mushrooms with a Balsamic creme Sauce.
  • INDULGE
  • Banana Split: Picture perfect with Banana's, Scoops of Dark Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, And Bing Cherry ice-creme, Drenched in Warm Fudge, Strawberry's, and candied Pineapple, clouds of Vanilla Whipped Creme and the Cherry on top.
  • Meyer Lemon Cheese Cake: Gingersnap Crust, topped with a warm Blueberry Compote.
  • Apple Cinnamon Bread Pudding: Allspice Liqueur Creme' Anglaise. A scoop of Cinnamon Ice-creme fits perfectly.
  • Dark Chocolate Cherry Creme Cheese Brownie: Served warm with Vanilla Bean and dark Chocolate Ice-Creme.
  • Artisan Cheese and Fruit Platter: Served with Toasted Sweet Breads and a few Sweet Condiments.
  • Carrot Cake: Three layers of the Most moist and loaded cake you will ever have... Guaranteed to please, or it is on the House!

So, that's time spent when I should of been doing something. But this was fun, A good brain exercise.
